Scirge in CLICO distribution portfolio

Under the signed distribution agreement, CLICO portfolio has been enriched with Scirge solution that monitors and audits passwords used by employees on business computers.

CLICO — the largest with 100% Polish capital value added distributor - since 1991 has been effectively introducing and promoting innovative solutions of global market leaders in Poland and other countries of Central and Eastern Europe. In the second quarter of 2021, CLICO finalized an agreement with Scirge and introduced a solution that monitors web and cloud applications used by employees in scope of identifying “Shadow IT” (meaning applications not approved by the organization).

The more so as the aspects related to the employee's digital identity and its authentication should be one of the pillars of this policy. Employees using a corporate email address as a login for privately used applications, or using the same passwords for many applications, in particular the same passwords for private applications as they use for business applications, employees sharing application accounts among themselves ... these are just some of the scenarios that could be reacted to by implementing Scirge solution in the organization. Monitoring is driven by web browser extension installed on employees' work computers. That allows to see what applications employees use and what login and password are entered. Operation of Scirge does not require communication through  proxy or other device.
